Uppingham School, founded in 1584, is a leading co-educational independent boarding school in the UK with a history of nearly 500 years. In academic year 2026-2027, Uppingham will open a campus in Hung Yen in conjunction with our partners Viet Capital Education. This milestone marks the first expansion of the Uppingham brand into Asia, setting a new benchmark for world-class holistic education in Vietnam. Uppingham Hung Yen, situated on an already constructed 4.7 hectares (ha) site in Ecopark and with all the facilities one would expect from a world-class school, will be the second premium international school for Uppingham.

Only 25 minutes’ drive from downtown Hanoi, Uppingham Hung Yen is part of the Ecopark development, a 500-ha luxury environment combining urban living with natural surroundings providing a healthy and green lifestyle in contact with nature. Since the construction commencement in 2019, Ecopark has since become a vibrant urban area with nearly 20,000 residents, promising to reach 110,000 residents in 2030
