Mô tả Công việc

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business growth in Vietnam - deliver agreed aspects of the Business Development Plan under the guidance of the Business Development Director APAC. Achieve agreed sales growth objectives including revenue and margin for the business in Vietnam. Gain margin improvement for Den Hartogh and cost productivity for customers.
  2. Strategic Business Planning - work together with the Business Development Director APAC to create strategy definition and business plans for Vietnam to deliver long term growth in the Polymer, Chemical and Food sectors.
  3. Business Development - promote & sell Den Hartogh Dry Bulk logistics services: research, explore and develop new opportunities and help develop new customer relationships. Assess new business models vs existing ones to grow substantially and bring innovation to our products and services. Investigate and develop strategic partnerships / alliances. Manage professionally the relationship between our new customers and our own organisation.
  4. Marketing and PR - provide general marketing expertise, including strategy definition, program role out, training packs for communications and conferences. Maintain industry, segment and product knowledge and keep ahead of market developments and communicate these internally.
  5. Contribute to the APAC Commercial Team - work closely with Commercial colleagues across the APAC region to ensure new opportunities are exploited effectively & professionally and BD activities are aligned. Attend Team Meetings & support Sales calls as required.

Essential Job Requirements:

  •  Relevant qualification – (ie) business, shipping, logistics, transport
  •  Relevant experience in a business development / commercial position
  • Strong conceptual thinking mindset; experience creating supply chain solutions.
  • Natural ability to spot commercial opportunities & sales leads
  • Background within companies dealing in Logistics & Transportation
  • A relevant network in the Vietnam petrochemical industry is a plus
  • Fluency in both Vietnamese and English, both written and verbal

Experience and knowledge

  • Successful in stakeholder management within an international scope
  •  Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of working at a senior level
  • Experience in managing Key Customer Accounts
  • Ability and track record of growing business and delivering results

As our Dry Bulk Business Unit continues to invest and grow in Vietnam a new role has been created – Business Development Manager Vietnam. This is an integral role within the Indonesian Dry Bulk Team and is tasked with helping develop and grow the market position of our Dry Bulk business unit across Vietnam.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans to drive growth and profitability, identifying new business opportunities as well as building and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of the logistics industry, strong market analysis skills, and the ability to develop and execute business strategies.
