Duties and Responsibilities:
· Carry out process design and detail engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations, process optimization, sizing & selection of equipment, etc.
· Review of client’s tender documents, specifications, datasheets, verification of design data and calculations as directed by the Snr Process Engineer.
· Preparation of various engineering deliverables (drawings & documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Control Philosophies, Shutdown Philosophies, HAZOP studies & reports, operation & maintenance manuals, etc.
· Participate in the preparation of project cost estimates as directed by the Snr Process Engineer.
· Basic design calculations, materials selection and components evaluation as directed.
· Preparation and issue of Request for Quotations (RFQs), evaluation of vendor’s quotations, clarifications, technical bid analysis, etc.
· Review of vendor’s documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications, and calculations.
· Supervise manufacturing activities at sub-contractor’s premises and liaise with their representatives.
· Supervise installation activities at project work sites and carry out commissioning activities on site as required.
· Participate in commissioning activities of general process equipment for projects both in Vietnam and overseas.
· Assist customers with process equipment issues including investigations and troubleshooting activities at their premises.
· Participate in product development activities as directed.
· Assist in the maintenance of the company’s engineering reference database.
· Assist sales personnel with technical advice or customer enquiries.
