Position: Procurement Specialist (Temporary – 8 months)

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday
1. Job Purpose
The Procurement Specialist (Temporary) is responsible for managing procurement, transportation, and logistics activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods and materials for the company’s operations during an 8-month assignment.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Transportation Responsibilities
• Maintain cost-effective and efficient transportation plans to support business needs.
• Track delivery progress and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Negotiate rates, manage relationships with carriers, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Work closely with internal teams to align logistics operations with company objectives.
B. Logistics Responsibilities
• Prepare and submit customs declarations for import and export shipments.
• Ensure all shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.) are accurate and compliant.
• Liaise with customs authorities and freight forwarders to resolve issues.
• Stay informed of changes in customs regulations and trade agreements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to schedule and track shipments.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays.
C. Procurement Responsibilities
• Schedule deliveries and resolve shipping discrepancies with vendors.
• Approve payment requests and maintain accurate records of receipts.
• Monitor and follow up on the status of ongoing procurement activities.
• Confirm delivery timelines and track ordered materials.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet procurement needs.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
3. Employment Type
• Contract duration: 8 months (temporary assignment).
