The role provides long term development potential for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and experience in the fast-paced soft commodities environment.

This role will be working for ED&F Man Asia Pte Ltd, Volcafe’s company in Vietnam
Key Accountabilities
Support the downstream trading activities by contributing to sales growth, customer management, and smooth contract execution:
· Support the development and execution of international sales plans for soluble coffee products in assigned markets
· Maintain and develop relationships with international clients, importers, roasters, distributors, and traders
· Identify new customers and assist in expanding customer portfolios globally
· Negotiate pricing, contracts, volumes, and delivery terms (Incoterms)
· Coordinate with sourcing, logistics, quality control, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts
· Monitor global coffee market trends, prices, and competitor activity
· Represent the company at international trade shows, coffee exhibitions, and industry events
· Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, documentation, and sustainability standards (e.g., Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, Organic, etc.)
· Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis for senior management
· Manage key accounts and handle customer issues or claims professionally
Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related field
· 3-5 years of experience in international food ingredients or commodity trading including soluble coffee
· Strong understanding of the basic coffee supply chain (origin, processing, logistics, pricing)
· Proven track record in international sales, contract negotiation, and account management
· Experience working with soluble coffee markets is highly preferred
· Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping, and export documentation
Skills & Competencies
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Strong analytical and market research abilities
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple international accounts
· Cultural awareness and experience working with global partners
· Proficiency in English; additional languages are a strong advantage
· Willingness to travel internationally as required
