The Retail Sales Supervisor is responsible for driving sales performance and operational excellence across assigned retail stores. The role ensures achievement of sales targets, strict compliance with brand standards, effective inventory control, and high customer experience in line with the company’s retail strategy.
I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Performance & Store KPI Management
- Implement retail sales plans across assigned stores.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor key retail KPIs including:
- Sales per day / per store
- Conversion rate
- Average transaction value (ATV)
- Units per transaction (UPT)
- Sell-through rate
- Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews.
- Identify underperforming stores and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure proper execution of pricing, promotions, and markdown strategies.
2. Store Operations & Brand Standards
- Supervise daily retail operations to ensure compliance with company SOPs.
- Ensure visual merchandising (VM) standards are consistently executed.
- Maintain store presentation aligned with brand image.
- Monitor staff discipline, service attitude, and grooming standards.
- Coordinate with Operations and Warehouse to ensure smooth replenishment.
3. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels and product rotation across stores.
- Optimize stock allocation between stores to minimize slow-moving items.
- Analyze sell-through performance by SKU and category.
- Coordinate with Planning & Production on replenishment forecasts.
- Ensure stock accuracy and supervise periodic stock counts.
4. Customer Experience & CRM
- Ensure high service standards across all retail locations.
- Support development of VIP customer programs and clienteling strategy.
- Handle escalated customer complaints professionally.
- Identify opportunities to increase repeat purchase and customer retention.
5. Promotions & Retail Activation
- Execute promotional campaigns and in-store activations.
- Coordinate with Marketing for POS materials and communication.
- Monitor promotional performance and ROI.
6. Team Supervision & Training
- Support recruitment of store staff when required.
- Train and coach store teams on:
- Sales techniques
- Product knowledge
- Styling and cross-selling
- Motivate teams to achieve sales targets and improve performance.
7. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and product performance.
- Report store performance and improvement plans to Retail Sales Manager.
8. Pop-up & Short-Term Retail Development Support
- Actively identify and propose opportunities for pop-up stores, short-term retail activations, and temporary selling spaces in shopping malls, department stores, and strategic locations, as well as other opportunities such as agents, KOLs, … .
- Conduct initial site assessments including foot traffic observation, customer profile, and brand fit.
- Assist the Retail Sales Manager in preparing basic sales projection and operational requirements for pop-up proposals.
- Coordinate operational setup and execution of approved pop-up locations.
- Monitor sales performance and operational efficiency of pop-up stores during the activation period.
- Provide post-event performance report and recommendations.
