<Position Objective / Expectation>
- As an accounting staff member in a manufacturing company, this position is responsible for cost accounting, monthly closing, and financial reporting.
- Support the Chief Accountant, with a strong focus on cost accounting.
- Maintain and improve financial reporting for the overseas parent company and group, including IFRS and consolidated reporting.
<Job Responsibilities>
1. Accounting & Cost Accounting (Main Duties)
- Calculate and analyze manufacturing costs (materials, labor, overhead)
- Analyze cost variances and propose improvements
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
- Check journal entries, manage account balances, and review accounting records
2. Financial Reporting & Closing
- Support accounting and closing based on IFRS
- Prepare and review consolidated reporting packages
- Report to the parent company and overseas offices, and respond to inquiries
- Support internal and external audits
3. Support for Chief Accountant / Accounting Manager
- Act as backup for the Chief Accountant when necessary
- Prepare reports based on instructions from the Accounting Manager
- Support accounting policies and internal rules
- Improve accounting processes and workflows
4. System & Process Improvement
- Handle accounting operations using the Fast Accounting System
- Support data management and system operations (other accounting systems possible)
5. Internal & External Communication
- Work closely with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams on cost and inventory matters
- Communicate in Japanese or English when required
- Respond to accounting and finance-related inquiries within the company

- 製造業における経理実務のメンバーとして、原価管理・月次決算・財務報告などをお任せし、Chief Accountantを補佐し、特に原価計算業務をお任せします。
- IFRSおよび連結決算対応を通じて、海外親会社・グループ向けの財務報告体制を維持・改善する
<仕事内容>
1. 経理・原価計算業務(中心業務)
- 製造原価計算(材料費・労務費・製造間接費)の集計・分析
- 原価差異分析および改善提案
- 月次・四半期・年次決算業務の取りまとめ
- 仕訳チェック、勘定残高管理、帳簿レビュー
2. 財務報告・決算関連業務
- IFRS基準に基づく決算・会計処理対応
- 連結決算用Reporting Packageの作成・レビュー
- 親会社・海外拠点への財務報告、質疑対応
- 監査対応(内部監査・外部監査)
3. Chief Accountant/経理部長の補佐業務
- Chief Accountant不在時の業務代行・補完
- 経理部長の指示に基づく各種レポート作成
- 会計方針・社内ルールの運用サポート
- 業務フローの整備・改善提案
4. システム・業務改善関連
- Fast Accounting Systemを用いた経理処理・データ管理
- 他会計システムからのデータ連携・運用サポート
5. 社内外コミュニケーション
- 他部門(製造・購買・倉庫等)との原価・在庫連携
- 日本語または英語を使用した社内外コミュニケーション
- 会計・財務に関する社内問い合わせ対応
<Necessary Skill / Experience>
- Language: Business-level Japanese or English
- Experience:
- Around 10 years of financial accounting experience in a manufacturing company
- At least 5 years of cost accounting experience
- Experience as an Accounting Manager, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager
- Skills
- Chief Accountant certification
- Experience in IFRS-based financial accounting
- Ability to prepare consolidated financial reporting packages
- Experience with ERP systems (especially Fast Accounting; SAP, Oracle, or other systems are also acceptable)
