The Engineering Department Manager will oversee the complete lifecycle of engineering projects, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and financial control. Key responsibilities include:
Project Management: Lead and manage maintenance and construction projects related to various industrial environments (e.g., line equipment, steel plants, chemical plants).
Planning & Quotation: Develop comprehensive repair and installation plans, including detailed quotations, for all customer machinery activities.
Team Leadership: Allocate workload efficiently, provide direct supervision to upkeep staff, and drive performance.
Safety & Compliance: Implement and strictly enforce all workplace safety policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures, manage department finances, and control the maintenance budget effectively.
Bachelor's degree from a University of Technology in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related industrial field.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
Proven experience working within a Japanese construction company (e.g., plant, building, or similar heavy industry settings).
Proficient ability to design and utilize AutoCAD 2D/3D. Must be able to read, interpret, and understand complex engineering drawings thoroughly.
Must be Honest and highly responsible in performing all work duties.
Japanese: JLPT N2 or higher (mandatory) and English: TOEIC 650 or over
Age Range: from and above 40 years old
Basic Salary: 40,000,000 - 45,000,000 VND
